Adobe CS4 Media Encoder not exporting audio? Here’s the solution!

Recently we’ve come across a situation where we had to convert video files to flv format. Problem was that no matter what, the audio wouldn’t export when using CS4 Media Encoder. Even the master of the universe Google couldn’t give us an answer. Something I noticed was that a lot of people were experiencing the same problem, asking all the same questions but not getting any answers. So thanks to our man Nick Potgieter from Branded Media he came up with this solution!

First download a nice little media converter called Handbrake. Install and run it. Import your video file and convert it do your desired format (you only have a few options, I went with mp4). Then take said converted file and drag it over to Adobe Media Converter, select flv and boom shakalaka, your video will now export with audio!

It seems like it’s a codec issue and can easily be solved by using above method!
